Топливные и материальные склады

Склады предназначены для хранения топлива, сырья, материалов оборудования и запасных частей. Склады бывают специализирован­ные (для определенного материала) и универсальные. Различают скла­ды материальные и топливные (нефтяные, угольные, дизельного топ­лива, дровяные и смешанные). Топливные склады снабжают топливом тепловозы, паровозы, водокачки, электростанции и другие объекты и располагаются на станциях, имеющих локомотивное депо. К ма­териальным складам относятся: базы ГУМТО и отраслевых главных управлений МПС, главные склады дорог, склады отделений, пред­приятий и строительных организаций.
Через материальные склады проходит примерно 80% всех ма­териальных ценностей, поступающих для снабжения транспортных потребителей.
Главный склад дороги подчинен службе материально-технического обеспечения, предназначен для хранения материалов, поступающих от предприятий-поставщиков и баз ГУМТО, и снабжения материаль­ных складов линейных предприятий.
Материалы на склад отделения дороги поступают с главного склада дороги, непосредственно от поставщиков и с местных сбыто­вых баз. На станциях, удаленных от отделенческого склада, но име­ющих крупных потребителей, устраивают филиалы материального склада.

Главный склад дороги, как правило, расположен в пункте поступ­ления основной массы материалов, а склады отделений — в пунктах наибольшего их потребления.
Материальные базы и склады (рис. 209) представляют собой ком­плекс закрытых помещений, навесов, высоких и низких платформ, площадок и других устройств.
Склады оснащены средствами механизации, весовым хозяйством, противопожарным оборудованием, водопроводом, освещением и т. п.
Материалы на складах размещают с учетом их сортности, размеров, сроков поступления, хранения и других требований.
Установлен определенный порядок учета материалов и их отпуска потребителям. Для выполнения учетных операций находят примене­ние средства механизации и автоматизации.
